Frye

Milton R. “Butch” Frye, 69, of Cabot passed away Tuesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice after a five year battle with cancer.

Born on Dec. 10, 1943, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of Frank “Joe” Frye and Rhea Richardson Frye.

Butch served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1961 to 1965.

He worked as a loader operator for Harsco. He enjoyed power lifting.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Shipkowski Frye, who he married on Dec. 1, 1976; his mother, Rhea Richardson Frye of the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center; two daughters, Megan Frye of Cabot and Jennifer Frye of Shaler Township; and his sister, Marjorie (Donald) Dingel of West Sunbury.

He was preceded in death by his father.
