Looking good for back to school

      The Newhaven Court Beauty Shop held a back-to-school haircut event for school-aged children Monday, Aug. 19, at 100 Newhaven Lane, Center Township.
The event was by appointment only and the cost for each haircut was a $10 donation. Every child received an entry for a chance to win a back-to-school basket.

      Leslie Ray from the Newhaven Court Beauty Shop has been a beautician for 37 years with three of them at Newhaven. She donated her services for free during the event so all the money would go to the teacher selected to get the donations on Aug. 19, 2024.
