AMAZING MATH COMPETITORS
Mars High School Advanced Algebra II students recently competed in the Allegheny Math Partnership’s 2017 Amazing Math Race. The team of sophomores, from left, Lauren Lussier, Regan Kramm and Madelene Lussier, took first place in the competition against teams from Avonworth and North Hills school districts. Teams were tested in linear, quadratic, geometry, tangrams and the “24” math game.
