Daniel Dryna

Dryna

Daniel J. Dryna, of Zelienople, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024.

Born Sept. 13, 1947, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Joseph William Dryna and the late Gloria Mae Enie.

Recipient of the Carnegie Mellon Bronze Medal, Daniel was a humble, selfless man who saved many with no thought of his own safety. He also helped countless other family, friends and strangers with his endless wisdom and generous heart. He was a handyman and fisherman at heart, which led to his greatest achievement of charter captain. Daniel and his family would spend many hours fishing, enjoying the beauty of God’s creation and the love they had for each other. Daniel will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

He leaves behind to carry on his legacy his wife of nearly 48 years, Nina A. Dryna; his daughters, Daneene Wimer (John), Jessica Orr (Austin) and Emilee Piccolino (Mark); his son, Joseph Dryna; and his 11 grandchildren, Jaden, Sophia, Rocco, Brody, Wyatt, Savanna, Josie, Koen, Gabby, Nina and Miranda.
