Kathryn Wertzberger

Wertzberger

Kathryn A. Wertzberger, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2024.

She was born Jan. 8, 1948, in Pottsville, Pa., a daughter of the late Albert and Marie (Wertz) Rosenberger.

Kathryn worked as a paralegal for many years before retiring and dedicated a lot of her time giving back to the community. She served as an election judge in Mt. Lebanon and was a Eucharistic minister at both St. Bernard Catholic Church and St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

Kathryn also volunteered with Meals on Wheels and many other charitable causes.

She was the beloved wife of 47 years to the late Robert A. Wertzberger.

Kathryn is survived by her son, Robert F. (Shannon) Wertzberger of Bridgeville; three grandchildren, Katelyn Wertzberger, Andrew (Harley) Wertzberger and Alexander Wertzberger; and two nieces, Rita Snukus and Tammy Post.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her brother, William Rosenberger.

WERTZBERGER — A Mass of Christian burial for Kathryn A. Wertzberger, who died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2024, was celebrated on Friday, Aug. 16, 2024, at St. John XXIII Parish, St. Benedict the Abbot Church. Interment was in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
