Geraldine “Geri” Malecki, 82, of Evans City, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024.

She was born in Pittsburgh on Feb. 3, 1942, to the late George and Frances (Kulkowski) Turak.

Geri graduated from Saint John the Baptist High School and worked for many years as an office manager of her and her husband’s computer business. She was known for her love of gardening, cooking ethnic recipes, reading, doing puzzles and traveling. Geri loved spending time with her family.

She was the beloved wife of Stanley Malecki since their marriage in 1961; mother of Melissa (Malecki) Newman and Gregory Malecki; sister of George Turak; grandmother of John Dobrowski, Daniel, Michael and Jacob Getty, and McKensie and Jackson Malecki; and great-grandmother of four great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Geri was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Turak.
