Allegheny Health Network has received statewide recognition from Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania’s 2024 Donate Life Pennsylvania Hospital Challenge for AHN’s efforts to support and raise awareness about organ, eye and tissue donation.

AHN’s Allegheny General Hospital and Jefferson Hospital were also named top-performing hospitals in the region as part of the challenge, with the facilities receiving first and third place awards respectively.

Through this annual challenge, the association recognizes the efforts of health care providers who lead effective campaigns to increase organ donation awareness within their hospitals and communities.

This year, 118 hospitals statewide participated in the challenge and a total of 11 AHN hospitals were recognized through the challenge with titanium or platinum designations.
