PennDOT digs Freeport Road
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is replacing a culvert on Freeport Road in Summit Township as part of a multiphase project that started in May, according to a statement from PennDOT.
Temporary traffic signals have made for a one-lane traffic pattern, the statement reads. A detour is in place for properties on Hinchberger Road. Motorists will travel on Freeport Road to Headland Road to Simon Road to Hinchberger Road.
Gibsonia-based Allison Park Contractors is completing the $1.9 million project, which is anticipated to be completed in December 2024.
