Karns City graduate Ashley Campbell scored 24 points to lead the Butler County Community College women’s basketball team to a 69-53 victory over CCAC-South recently.

The BC3 men also beat CCAC-South, 89-56.

Butler graduates Katresa Savisky (17 points), Rachel Doutt (12 points and 15 rebounds) and Casey Fleeger (15 assists) contributed to the women’s win.

BC3 (11-7, 6-1) is in second place in the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference.

Butler graduate Blake Anderson sparked the men’s win by recording 26 points, including six 3-pointers, and six assists.

Jordan Taylor added 20 points, 17 assists and three steals, while Mars graduate Ian Hindley had 17 points and five rebounds. Knoch graduate Corey Miller had 11 rebounds for he Pioneers (4-15).
