Barbara L. Flick, 76, of Butler, passed away Monday morning, Aug. 5, 2024, in the comfort of her home.

She was born Oct. 14, 1947, in Kittanning, daughter of the late John Zamperini and Josephine (Mattei) Zamperini.

Barbara graduated from Kittanning High School and from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in education. She had worked as a business education teacher for the Butler Area School District. She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, was a Eucharistic minister at St. Peter’s for many years and had been a Future Business Leaders of America leader for high school students. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, attending all of their events and activities.

She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Flick, whom she married Oct. 9, 1970; her three daughters, Tracy Minton, Jeannine (Chad) Carter and Karey Day; grandchildren, Jacob, Alexis and Connor Minton, Giana Carter, and Ethan, Emma and Evan Day; one sister, Carol Niggel; one brother, John (Lisa) Zamperini; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers-in-law, Tom Niggel, Edward Flick and Donald Flick.

FLICK — A Mass of Christian burial for Barbara L. Flick, who died Monday, Aug. 5, 2024, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler.
