Gloria Ambroziak
Gloria J. Ambroziak, 91, of Mars, formerly of Valencia, passed away on Monday evening, July 29, 2024, at UPMC Jamison Hospital in New Castle.
Born in Pittsburgh on Jan. 28, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Hazel Danver Blacksmith.
A homemaker, Gloria was a member and former deacon at the Valencia Presbyterian Church.
She also was a cerebral palsy patient care aide and had volunteered at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars for many years.
Surviving are two sons, Douglas J. Ambroziak and his wife, Sally of Ellwood City and David L. Ambroziak in San Antonio, Texas; two grandsons, Timothy Ambroziak (Nicci) of Chippewa and Steven Ambroziak (Jamie) of Ellwood City; and a great-granddaughter, Shiloh Ambroziak.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. Ambroziak, whom she married on Sept. 12, 1952, and who died on April 3, 2005; and by a sister, Mary Lois Klinger.
AMBROZIAK — Friends of Gloria J. Ambroziak, who died Monday, July 29, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Services will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in West Union Cemetery, Pine Township.
