Lacey Weaver was crowned America’s Miss Pennsylvania last month at the Miss Pennsylvania pageant in Princeton, N.J.
She is the daughter of Dale and Val Weaver of Harmonsburg, the granddaughter of Gene and Esther Bulfone of Grove City and the niece of Chris and Melissa Bulfone of Butler.
The New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania pageants were held on the same day.
All winners received a $7,600 modeling scholarship to Future Star Studios in New York City.
Weaver competed in four phases of competition including interview, fitness wear, evening gown and red carpet presentation.
She will move on to compete for the national title of America’s Miss against women from all over the country July 9 to 14 in Annapolis, Md.
Weaver will spend the next year traveling around Pennsylvania making appearances.
She will be promoting the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America organization and will also be working with many other groups such as the American Cancer Society, the Second Harvest Food Bank and March of Dimes.
She will participate in events that support Breast Cancer Awareness as well as Girl Scout events to help empower young girls.
Weaver will visit with her state representatives, as well as judge and emcee pageants around Pennsylvania.

Brandi Klee of Butler was named the Outstanding Junior at the 115th Pennsylvania State Conference of the Daughters of the American Revolution held April 26 through 28 at the Pittsburgh Marriott.Klee is a junior member of the General Richard Butler Chapter and will go on to represent the state of Pennsylvania at Continental Congress in Washington, D.C., this summer.———On April 26, the Butler Duplicate Bridge Club winners were:First:
