The deadline for applications for the 2013 Miss Butler County USA contest is Nov. 30.

The pageant will be Dec. 16 a the Kean Theatre on the St. Barnabas Health System campus in Gibsonia.

No performing talent is required. Judging is based on personality, stage presence and overall appearance. Entrants compete in an evening gown and a one-piece swimsuit, have a one-on-one interview with the judges and participate in an photogenic competition.
