Janaszek

Francis B. Janaszek, previously of Harrisville, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024, at his residence in Westford, Pa.

Born Nov. 2, 1938, in Sharpsburg, Pa., near Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late John and Helen Janaszek.

Francis was operations manager for Plain Grove Sand + Supply in Plane Grove, Pa. He also was employed by Kebert Construction Company in Meadville, Pa., as operations manager.

Francis is survived by five children, John Janaszek of Westford, Pa., Barbara (Ralph) Schweihs of Carol Stream, Ill., James (Aimee) Janaszek of Camden, S.C., Joseph (Colleen) Janaszek of Portland, Ore., and Douglas Janaszek of Butler.

He also is survived by 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are one son, Jay Janaszek; and one grandson, Justin Janaszek.
