The Butler Pony baseball team beat Moniteau 12-10 to win the Allegheny River League Pony Championship on July 18. The league consists of 10 teams from Butler and Armstrong counties. The roster for Butler, which went 15-3-1 this season, included: Edan Singer, Micah Silk, Brett Schnur, Logan Browne, Bentley Zinkhann, Ryan Shever, Hunter Knapik, Blake Schreffler, Justin Kibbie, Jesse Sasse, Colin Neubauer, Brayden McNany and Levi Dietrich.
