Barbara Jean Eberle, 75, of Butler, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, while under the care of Concordia at Cabot.

Born March 24, 1949, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Carl Edward and Iva Jean (Parsons) Eberle.

Barbara was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she volunteered as a teacher of youth and children. She was also a camp cook for 25 years at the summer girls camp. Barbara also loved to go bowling and to knit. Most of all, she loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Barbara leaves behind to cherish her memory her brothers, John Patrick (Robin) and William David (Audrey); her sisters, Margaret Ruth Cloud (Frank) and Martha Ann Gardener (Lance); her 21 nieces and nephews; and her 32 great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl Bruce Eberle and Richard Donn Eberle.

EBERLE — Friends and family of Barbara Jean Eberle, who died Wednesday, July 10, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, Butler Ward, 365 Sawmill Run Road, Butler.

Barbara will be laid to rest in the Greenlawn Burial Estates in Butler.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked, since Barb loved reading and often went to the Butler Public Library, to please make your expression of love by donating to the Butler Public Library, 218 N. McKean St., Butler, PA 16001.
