Robinson Fans

A staple in the Zelienople community for 123 years, Robinson Fans’ corporate office and manufacturing plant is rooted in its metal fabrication and production of custom-made, high quality industrial fans.

Over the course of the last year, not only did the company have a fruitful year in production of its highly technical air-moving equipment, it was a successful year philanthropically as well.

Having always supported charitable causes close to its heart, Robinson founded the REACH Project in 1992 on its 100th anniversary to honor its employees. The REACH Project has provided scholarships for both students and educators in Western Pennsylvania and has grown its presence in each other state that Robinson has a location: Utah, Florida, Texas and Alabama.

Over the summer, the employees at each Robinson facility challenged one another to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, raising more than $8,500 to the ALS Association.

To follow it up, Robinson Fans joined with the Bair Foundation, a nonprofit committed to providing care and services for children and adolescents who are unable to remain with their families, to sponsor 25 children in foster care over the holiday season.

In addition, they partnered with the Veterans Affairs of Butler County Homeless Program Community Living Center to collect and donate toiletry items for our nation’s heroes who have fallen on hard times.

Robinson Fans also was featured in Pittsburgh Magazine’s October Made in Pittsburgh edition, being named the 16th best locally owned company in the area.

The company is currently focused on continuous improvement efforts, making it a companywide priority to seek and implement practices that focus on the overall improvement of the business.
