Lois Clouse
Lois Jeannine Reaugh Clouse, 88, of Muddy Creek Township, Portersville, passed away at her residence on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
She was born in Butler, to Byron McCoy and Eleanor Agnes Bauder Reaugh on Oct. 10, 1935. Lois married Clarence R. “Jake” Clouse on Dec. 4, 1953. He preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 2004.
Lois was a faithful member of the Portersville Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed bowling, flowers and above all else, spending time with her family. Lois was a member of the Portersville Muddy Creek Township Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Red Hat Society and Butler Chapter 45 Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie (Tim) Kennedy of Prospect; four sons, Gary (Diane) Clouse of Portersville, Robert (Tami) Clouse of Pittsburgh, Jeff (Debbie) Clouse of New Castle and Richard (Kimberly) Clouse of Freedom; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Beverly Kyper; brother, Gordon “Butch” Reaugh; and two great-grandchildren.
CLOUSE — Visitation for Lois Jeannine Reaugh Clouse, who died Thursday, June 20, 2024, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. An Eastern Star Service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday at the Portersville Presbyterian Church, 1297 Perry Highway, Portersville, where family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Dana Opp, of the church, presiding.
Interment will follow in Portersville Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Lutheran Senior Life Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
