In celebration of the Fourth of July holiday and American independence, Freeport resident Nick Triveri will host a presentation at 10 a.m. on July 4, which will include a reading of the Declaration of Independence.

The presentation, which is scheduled to last about 30 minutes, will be held at the gazebo at Riverside Park in Freeport.

This year will mark the 14th time he’s given his presentation in honor of Independence Day.

Before the reading, Triveri also will deliver a brief presentation outlining the events leading up to that moment in history and key historical figures of the time.
