The Jean B. Purvis Community Health Center has received a $50,000 grant from Armstrong.

Purvis, established in 2008, had to cancel its two major fundraising events in 2020 due to COVID-19, resulting in a 20% loss to the center’s operating income for the year.

The health center is a nonprofit that provides free medical care, basic dental care, behavioral health services and health and wellness educations to eligible residents of the Butler County region.
