Arthur ‘Butch’ Zattiero

Zattiero

Arthur W. “Butch” Zattiero, 82, of Forward Township, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, while under the care of Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

Born Sept. 4, 1941, in Callery, he was the son of the late Hugo Zattiero and Margaret (Machin) Zattiero.

Butch owned and operated two car dealerships in Oil City and Emlenton. He was the general manager of the Butler Auto Auction/Manheim. When he wasn’t working, Butch was a homebody who enjoyed fixing things in his garage, doing yardwork, mowing the grass, and going on car rides. In his free time, he also enjoyed golfing, which he did with professional athletes over the years. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his granddaughters, Shannon and Karlee. He will be dearly missed.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 65 years, Nancy J. (Rape) Zattiero, whom he married on April 15, 1959; his children, Susan (David) Kushnereit and Gary (Tracy) Zattiero; his grandchildren, Shannon Kushnereit, Karlee (Nathan) Babusci, and Victoria and Joshua Zattiero; his great-grandchild, Mason; his brothers, Albert and Bob (Carolyn) Zattiero; and his beloved dog, Toby.

In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Zattiero; and his sisters, Wilma Knox and Tillie Forsythe.
