Mars Area High School
The Mars Area High School commencement was held at 6 p.m. June 3 at the Mars Athletic Complex.
The student speakers were Annelie Gustafsson, Nicholas Ferrari and Nora Solich.
■ Annelie is the daughter of Meredith Eckman, of Adams Township, and Lars Gustafsson, of Middlesex Township. She was treasurer of Science National Honor Society, and a member of Enrichment Club, Key Club, Spanish Club, Spanish National Honor Society, Film Club and Water Protection Club.
She plans to attend Purdue University to study mechanical engineering.
■ Nicholas is the son of Lisa Ferrari and Anthony Ferrari, both of Valencia. He was a member of Best Buddies, Enrichment Club, National Honor Society, Spanish NHS, Spanish Club, all-school play and all-school musical.
He plans to attend Pace University to major in directing.
■ Nora is the daughter of Jenna and Ben Solich, of Mars. She was class president and a member of Key Club.
Class officers are Nora Solich, president; Vivek Dadi, vice president; Cecelia Crowley, treasurer; and Ava Day, secretary.
