The Zelienople Historical Society's Angel Award was presented Sept. 9 to
Phil Hollerman of Harmony by past recipient
Ron Goehring.Hollerman, a life member of the Zelienople Historical Society, serves on the board of trustees and is active on the buildings and grounds committee.He and his wife,
Velma Hollerman, have been active at Buhl House Museum and Passavant House Museum maintaining and beautifying the lawns and gardens.Phil and Velma Hollerman were recognized along with Phil's mother,
Dorothy Hollerman, a founding member of the society, at the annual members dinner meeting.The Angel Award was established in 1992 to honor Joan Teichart, donor of the Buhl House to the society and well-known collector of angels. The award is made annually to a person who has made a major contribution to the preservation or promotion of local history. The recipient is given a plaque and their name and photograph are placed on permanent display at The Buhl House Museum.———
