Corina J. Taylor, 87, of Cranberry Township, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 30, 2024, while under the care of AHN Hospital in Wexford.

Born in Ambridge on Aug. 27, 1936, she was the daughter of the late George and Leta (Sacco) Cardinali.

Corina graduated from the Pinkerton Business School in Pittsburgh. She went on to work in the office at Taylor Milk Co. in Ambridge, where she first met her husband, Gene. Corina was also a proud member of the Plains Presbyterian Church, as she worked on the flower committee and donated meals to many functions. She enjoyed Italian cooking, sewing and traveling. Above all, Corina loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Corina leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 57 years, Eugene “Gene” Taylor, whom she married on July 2, 1966; her children, Joyce Webster (Barry Jr.), Scott Taylor, Lance “Lee” Taylor (Aimee) and Ronald Taylor (Amy); her eight grandchildren, Justin, Nicole, Maura, Marshall, Nicholas, Courtney, Lucy and Merissa; her four great-grandchildren; her stepgreat-grandson and stepgreat-granddaughter; her brother, James Cardinali (Carol) of Gibsonia; her sisters, Sylvia Heater of Saxonburg and Lucille Benacquisto of Pittsburgh; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Corina was preceded in death by her son, Gary Taylor, who passed on Aug. 9, 2020; her brother, Carl Cardinali; and her sister, Angeline Huston.

TAYLOR — A memorial service for Corina J. Taylor, who died Thursday, May 30, 2024, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Plains Presbyterian Church, 326 Plains Church Road, Cranberry Township, with Pastor Reid Moon officiating.

Corina will be laid to rest at Plains Church Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Corina’s Honor to the Plains Presbyterian Church.
