Violet Temoshenko
Violet Temoshenko, 94, of Cabot, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024.
She was born in Natrona Heights on March 5, 1930, to the late Leo and Sadie (Huss) Alexander.
Violet graduated from Robert Morris with her associate degree. Violet and her mother were longtime owners of Alexander's Inn. She was known for being friendly, hardworking, and for being a good mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Violet spent her time watching her family play sports, reading, and enjoyed gambling and slot machines.
She was the beloved long-term partner of John Altman, for over 58 years; mother of Susan (Mark) Cunningham; grandmother of Mark (Rachel) Cunningham, Clinton (Lindsay) Cunningham and Michael (Celina) Cunningham; great-grandmother of Roman, Rayleigh, Presley, Leo and Maria; and mother-in-law of Sandra and Cindy Temoshenko.
Along with her parents, Violet was preceded by her two sons, Leo Temoshenko and Nicholas Temoshenko Jr.; and her brothers, Leo and John Alexander.
Violet's family would like to offer a very warm thank you to her nurses, Trish and Ruth.
TEMOSHENKO — All services for Violet Temoshenko, who died Friday, May 24, 2024, were held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A memorial service will be planned in the future.
