Anna Marie Prichard
Anna Marie Prichard, 63, of Butler died Thursday afternoon at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She was born Oct. 14, 1949, in Braddock, Pa., and was a daughter of Edward L. Schultz and the late Margaret (Barcic) Schultz.
She graduated from Churchill High School in 1967, then received a bachelor's degree from Robert Morris University. She had worked as an accountant for Koppers and also for RG Friday Masonry in Wexford.
Anna was a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic in Butler, where she was director of the youth group in the 1970s; was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 117 in Butler; had computerized the McQuistion Elementary School in the late 1980s; was a co-founder of the Butler Junior Tennis Association in the early 1990s; was on the board of directors for the Allegheny Mountain Tennis Association and had also coached the Butler Junior High Tennis Team.
Surviving are her husband, John S. Prichard; one son, William E. (Jill) Prichard of Tampa, Fla.; her father, Edward L. Schultz of Pittsburgh; one brother, Edward J. (Sandy) Schultz of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one sister, JoAnn (Bill) Seman of Pittsburgh; and three nephews, one niece and one great-nephew.
PRICHARD — Friends of Anna Marie Prichard, who died Thursday, April 25, 2013, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Butler.St. Paul's Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:40 a.m. Monday at the church to recite the rosary.Memorial donations may be made to Butler Junior Tennis, P.O.
