Rose Marie Barkley

Rose Marie Barkley, 62, the beloved wife of Loyd Ray Barkley of Fombell, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning at home.

Born Aug. 16, 1954, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of Elsie Myers Wahl Houck and the late Richard H. Wahl.

Rose worked at SAE and also at Cannon as an office manager. Most recently, she devoted her time to her husband, grandchildren and church. She was a member of Zelienople Church of the Nazarene, where she enjoyed volunteering. She was always a giving person and was loved by all who knew her.

Rose is survived by her husband of 39 years, Loyd Ray Barkley; her mother Elsie Marie Wahl Houck and her husband Ray Houck; two daughters, Amanda Johnson and her husband, Steve, of Rockwall, Texas, and Jodie Gillespie and her husband, Shawn, of Butler; her beloved niece Ryan Sue Wahl of Zelienople; her grandchildren Micah, Mia, Tiana, Kaden, Mateo, Deklan, Jaxon and Maddox; her brother Richard “Bill” Wahl and his wife Carol of Zelienople; and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother James Wahl.

BARKLEY — A memorial service for Rose Marie Barkley, who died Monday, May 22, 2017, will be at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Zelienople Church of the Nazarene, 115 Nazarene Court, Fombell.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
