Man claims 3 women hired for massage stole guns, cash

VENANGO TWP — A northern Butler County man says he was rubbed the wrong way this week after hiring three women to come to his house and give him a massage.

Instead of being relieved of any aches and pains, authorities said, the man claimed the women relieved him of a Rolex watch, two handguns and other property for a total value of $7,800.

State police on Wednesday arrested one suspect in the alleged would-be rubdown rip-off.

Amber R. Kastelic, 22, of Fairview Township, who is charged with felony theft, remains in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.

The 51-year-old client told investigators that on Sunday he made arrangements for the three women to pay him a house call for a massage. He previously hired two of the women for the same service, according to court documents.

But apparently before the women got there, the man passed out from drinking.

At the house, the would-be masseurs texted the man several times, trying to awaken him. They eventually let themselves in through an unlocked door.

The man recounted that when he awoke about 2:30 a.m. Monday, he found numerous items missing, including the watch and guns as well as a computer, binoculars and $300 in currency documents said.

Asked if the knew the women’s names, the man told police that he only knew them as “Carmin” and “Amber” and “Sugar.”

On Wednesday, he told investigators that he had received a text message from “Carmin” claiming the theft was Kastelic’s idea, documents said.

Police on Wednesday spoke to Kastelic, who corroborated the victim’s account leading up to the alleged crime. But Kastelic blamed one of her accomplices for directing the theft.

She did not know what happened to the stolen items nor did she know the last names of the other suspected thieves, police said.
