BUTLER TWP — A murder mystery dinner theater will be presented by Elliott Acres Therapy Riding as a fundraiser on Feb. 26 at the South Butler Fire Hall, 98 Old Plank Road.

Doors open at 4 p.m. The dinner and show begin at 5 p.m. The meal will be prepared by the South Butler Fire Hall Auxiliary with entertainment by Mystery's Most Wanted, an interactive dinner theater company.

The show is recommended for those age 12 and older. Cost is $25. Only 100 tickets are available.

PITTSBURGH — Shady Side Academy will host a free screening of local filmmaker Ken Love's documentary “One Shot: The Life and Work of Teenie Harris” at 6:30 p.m. Monday at The Hillman Center for Performing Arts on the academy campus at 423 Fox Chapel Road.The screening runs in tandem with an exhibit of Harris' photographs on display at the Hillman Center through March.Admission is free to both the screening and exhibit.The film is about 60 minutes and will be followed by a question-and-answer panel session with the filmmaker along with John Brewer, consultant for the Harris photo project at the Carnegie Museum of Art, historian for The New Pittsburgh Courier archives, and author of the book “African Americans in Pittsburgh.”Visit www.shadyside academy.org.
