Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania will host holiday teas on Saturday and Dec. 14 at the Succop Conservancy, 185 Airport Road, Penn Township. Included will be carols, a craft and a holiday story along with tea and treats. The Saturday tea is for girls and their favorite doll, along with a parent or guardian. Also, a different program will focus on decorating using materials found in nature Saturday at Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve, 614 Dorseyville Road, Fox Chapel, and Sunday at the Succop. Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township, will host a program on “Western Pennsylvania and the Fur Trade” at 2 p.m. Sunday. Community College of Allegheny County's Chris Kubiak will speak and answer questions. “Ornaments from the Outdoors and Upcycled Creations” will be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 15; registration is required by Sunday calling 724-794-6011. Jennings is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and on weekends as scheduled. The trails are open daily from sunrise to sunset. Call 724-794-6011.

Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh at Nicholas E. Wagman Observatory, Deer Lakes Regional Park, Frazer Township, Allegheny County, has canceled viewing for Comet ISON, since it apparently disintegrated in a sun fly by. Call 724-224-2510.
