JACKSON TWP — A man died in a traffic accident on Pattison Street Extension in Jackson Township about noon Friday.

Police said the man was driving his truck toward Evans City around noon when he lost control of the vehicle, veering off the road and down a hill into a small stream in the backyard of a residence.

Emergency responders have yet to determine if the man was killed in the crash or whether he suffered a medical event that ultimately caused the crash.

Police are still on the scene.
