Nancy Jane (Christy) Gray, 77, of West Sunbury, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.

She was born in Grove City on Jan. 31, 1947, to the late Clarence “Baldy” Christy and Betty Jane (Dollman) Christy-Martin. Nancy graduated from Moniteau High School. She was known as the best cook and baker and an immaculate housekeeper. Nancy was a dedicated mother, wife, sister, aunt, friend and exceptional Nan-Nan. She loved her job at Sam’s Club and was employed there for nearly 10 years. She touched the hearts of everyone she met and will be forever missed.

Nancy was the beloved wife of Richard Gray since their marriage on Oct. 6, 1969; mother of Regina (Scott Pierce) Morgan, Kimberly (Tim Price) Gray, Joseph (Jackie) Gray and Shawn Gray; sister of Shirley (Harvey) Scott and Billie Jo (Joe) Malinski; grandmother of Ashleigh, Kyla, Evan, Lindsey, Kayla, Conner, Alexa, Bradley, Jessica, Kelsey, Ashley and Sidney; and great-grandmother of Collin, Mason, Paisley, Brinley, Leah, Briar, Mila and Paisley. She also is survived by her sister-in-law, Bonnie Christy.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, John “Pepper” Martin; and her brother, Ronald Christy.

GRAY — Family and friends of Nancy Jane (Christy) Gray, who died Wednesday, May 1, 2024, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. Funeral prayers will immediately follow in the funeral home. Graveside burial prayers will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in West Sunbury Cemetery.
