AHN hospitals receive ‘A’ grade from Leapfrog Group

Allegheny Health Network announced its Allegheny Valley, Forbes, Grove City and Wexford hospitals have received ‘A’ grades in the Leapfrog Group’s spring 2024 Hospital Safety Grades report.
The report evaluates how hospitals and other health care organizations protect their patients from medical errors, injuries, accidents and infections.
Hospital safety grades are assigned twice annually to nearly 3,000 general acute-care hospitals in the United States.
According to Leapfrog, the grading system uses national performance measures from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Leapfrog Hospital Survey and information from supplemental data sources.
