New tree replacing original that was dedicated to memory of Jeff Warnick
The Butler County Children's Center planted a new tree in honor of Jeffrey Warnick's contributions to The Boys Club.
The Butler County Children's Center will dedicate a tree at 5 p.m. Friday in memory of Jeff Warnick, a young man with local connections who was killed during a drive-by shooting in 1993 at age 25.
June Warnick, Jeff 's mother, said she was glad to see the center replace the tree that stood in the young man's honor since his death.
“They didn't know Jeff,” she said. “I'm so pleased that they're doing this.”
