Charles Robbins
Charles Ronald “Charlie” Robbins, 72, of Karns City, passed away peacefully Monday, Nov. 15, 2021, at his home.
Born July 9, 1949, in Columbia, Miss., Charles was the son of the late Charlie B. and Mary Agnes King Robbins.
He was a graduate of Mount Vernon High School and lived most of his life in Virginia.He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.He spent most of his career in the construction trade, building new homes and remodeling older homes.Charlie enjoyed all things construction, reading, playing games on his computer, and “picking” on his guitar. He also enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles.He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife and partner of 36 years, Lorraine “Lee” Earley Robbins; a daughter, Melanie Robbins and a son, Jeremy Robbins, both of Virginia; his sisters, Judy Domac and her husband, Alan, and Vicki Shirey and her husband, Mark, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews; his mother-in-law, Charlotte Earley Kloker of Karns City; and his brothers-in-law, Lewis Earley and his wife, Annette, of Chicora, and Mark Earley and Missy of Slippery Rock.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Robbins; and a brother-in-law.ROBBINS — Private funeral arrangements for Charles Ronald “Charlie” Robbins, who died Monday, Nov. 15, 2021, are under the direction of Hile Funeral Home of Karns City.Interment will be in Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia.Memorial contributions may be made to Karns City Regional Ambulance Service, P.O.
