I noticed the same thing at the Butler Junior High School invitational. There were 10 schools competing and almost all the buses were running - for 6 hours! My more immediate concern was the diesel fumes right next to the track and the high jump area. Kids are trying to run races and are forced to breath in fumes every time they round one end of the track. I thought this was terribly inconsiderate of the bus drivers if they were doing this just to stay warm. Regardless of the reason the buses should be shut down during the meets.
