South Butler library to hold bird ID event
Bird lovers are invited to attend a Bird Identification and Habitat presentation at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, at South Butler Community Library, 240 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
Mary Alice Koeneke, a Penn State Master Gardener, will demonstrate how to identify birds in the region and recognize birds’ habitats.
Those who attend also can peruse the seed library provided by Master Gardeners. Refreshments and a door prize will be part of the event.
