CHESTER, W.Va. — Butler resident Brian Minto's heavyweight fight against Ray Lunsford (19-7-2) at Mountaineer Racetrack and Gaming Resort has been moved to Aug. 23.

The boxing card had been switched to Aug. 24 only a day ago, but was bumped up a day to avoid conflicting with the opening night of West Virginia high school football.

Minto (27-2, 16 KOs) has not fought since March 17. Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster in 10 days.

McMURRAY — Nate Bilski of Butler carded a 2-over-par 74 to win the Heritage Tour event Tuesday at Lindenwood Golf Club.Kevin Day of Zelienople was second with a 6-over 78.The Heritage Tour is a college-level series for men and women ages 18 to 22. Bilski qualified last week for the tour's championship round Aug. 14 at Quicksilver.

HERMITAGE — Center Township resident Marissa DeCola, 13, recorded an 86 Monday, which was good for second place in the girls 15-and-under division at the King's Family Restaurant Junior Golf Tournament held at Tam O'Shanter Golf Course.

PITTSBURGH — University of Pittsburgh defensive end Joe Clermond was charged with possession of marijuana over the weekend, police said. TuesdayClermond and another person were arrested Saturday night, police said. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for July 30.Clermond, a redshirt junior, was second-team all-Big East last season after leading in tackles for loss.E.J. Borghetti, the team's associate athletic director for media relations, declined to comment, saying officials would "let the judicial process run its course."
