Joann (Peplowski) Collins, 71, of Butler, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024.

She was born in Natrona Heights on July 2, 1952, to the late John and Leonora (Gulchick) Peplowski.

Joann graduated from Butler High School in 1970 and was employed at AMS Electronics for 23 years in quality control. She was known for her love of reading and spending time with her family.

She was the mother of Cristina “Tina” (Fred) Collins; sister of Leona (Gary) Osche, Deb Toward and John Peplowski; grandmother of Raymond (Entasazia) Schell, Skyler-Anne (Tom) Collins and Jade (Hunter) McKerahan; great-grandmother of Gen, Donavan and Devlan; and sister-in-law of Jim Somerville.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ann Lopiccolo and Carole Boice; and her brother-in-law, Carl Lopiccolo.

COLLINS — Family and friends of Joann (Peplowski) Collins, who died Sunday, March 24, 2024, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. Prayers will immediately follow in the funeral home.
