Sing Hosanna! will conduct auditions for two upcoming shows.

The shows include the musical "Oliver" and the holiday celebration "Four Tickets to Christmas." Auditions for both will be held Monday and Tuesday, for ages 9 to 18 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and those age 19 and older starting at 8 p.m.

For "Oliver," roles are available for two boys played either by boys or girls ages 9 to 18. Also needed are seven adult females and eight adult males age 12 or older. Performance dates are Nov. 19 to 21 at the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College.

For "Four Tickets to Christmas," roles are available for four adult males, one teenage male and one boy age 8 to 13, as well as four adult females, one teenage female age 12 to 20 plus a barbershop quartet. The performance date is Dec. 11 at Penn Christian Academy.

Both of these auditions will be at Sing Hosanna! Stewart Hall, 310 W. Airport Road, Penn Township.

Other area auditions taking place include those conducted by the Armstrong Community Theater for the play "Arsenic and Old Lace" at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Worthington Civic Center, 218 E. Main St., Worthington.

Those auditioning will be asked to read chosen pieces from the script.
