The Butler County Humane Society will have its 17th annual Fur Ball on April 27, which will feature dinner and dancing, as well as appearances by animals from the shelter.

The event raises money for the society. Tickets are $150 per person, and a gourmet meal is included.

The evening at Butler Country Club will kick off at 6 p.m. with a “yappy hour” with animals from the shelter, followed by the meal at 7:15 p.m. The event also will feature a silent auction and a basket auction.
