Cranberry Public Library hosting dementia program
Reducing stigma and changing the way people think, act and talk about dementia is the topic of the Cranberry Public Library’s next speaker event at 6 p.m. April 9.
The hour-long presentation by Dementia Friends Pennsylvania will help people learn about living with dementia and the small things that can be done to support loved ones, friends and community members.
Dementia Friends Pennsylvania is a part of the Global Dementia Friends initiative developed by the Alzheimer’s Society in the United Kingdom, which believes helping everyone in a community understand what dementia is and how it affects people can allow everybody make a difference for people impacted by dementia.
