Fred, Robin Hood stole from the rich and gave to the poor because the rich originally stole their wealth from the poor. The total point of the Robin Hood legend seems to be lost, or perhaps purposely not promoted, by right wingers. Since 1979, the wealthiest 20% of Americans have substantially gained ground, while the bottom 80% (AKA most Americans) have lost ground. Cutting taxes for the wealthy only helps the wealthy, not everyone else.

Why do you keep parroting the right wing talking point about the "most productive workers?" Are pro athletes productive workers? What do they produce? Is Paris Hilton a productive worker when she is not getting arrested? As I keep stating on here, the majority of wealthy Americans inherit their wealth. Did Brian Ellis and Mike Kelly start their car dealerships from scratch? That would be a no. They INHERITED it. Why do you simply not believe objective facts?

The fallacy of you stating that the wealthiest pay a higher percentage of taxes is that they now have a greater percentage of income than they had in the past, but the percentage of taxes they pay is still not proportional to their wealth, it is lower.
