Bushaw

Leanne G. Bushaw, 77, of Butler, formerly of Virginia Beach, Va., passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024.

She was born in Memphis, Tenn., on Jan. 28, 1947, to the late Gertrude (Eilbott) Camden.

After graduating from Montgomery Blair High School in Montgomery County, Md., she attended the University of Maryland for a year before taking a job at the NIH in the personnel department. She then spent the remainder of her career working as an administrative assistant for the U.S. Census Bureau outside Washington, D.C. She enjoyed spending time watching her grandsons play sports, time at the beach, golfing and traveling.

She is survived by her daughter, Trudi (Quinn) Stevens; son, Christopher (Caitlin) Bushaw; and former daughter-in-law, Janice Bushaw. She was the grandmother to Brenden and Jake Stevens, CJ Bushaw, Eva Martz and Zach Clark.

She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her, especially her sassy attitude.
