Marilyn ‘Joyce’ Mansfield

Marilyn “Joyce” Mansfield, 90, formerly of Renfrew, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas.

Born May 12, 1933, in Vandergrift, she was the daughter of the late Murray Dennis Heffernan and Audra Lucille Alcorn Heffernan.

Joyce always wanted to impress upon her family that the Lord helped her throughout her whole life. She loved her family dearly.

She is survived by her son, Donald Mansfield, and his companion, Linda Mitchell, of Valencia; her daughter, Cynthia J. Hernandez of San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her brothers, Murray Dwayne Heffernan of Florida and David Kane Heffernan and his wife, Debbie, of Apollo; and her sister, Sharon Melissa Snyder of Indiana.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene L. “Snuffy” Mansfield; her son, Edwin Mansfield; her brother, Carl Patrick “John” Heffernan; her sister, Phyllis Annette Heffernan; and her son-in-law, Jesse Hernandez.

MANSFIELD — All services for Marilyn “Joyce” Mansfield, who died Thursday, March 14, 2024, will be held privately by her family.

Arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER OF CONNOQUENESSING TOWNSHIP, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
