Painted fur babies

Several painters with skills from beginner to advanced who are wild about their pets turned out to the Alameda Park office Tuesday evening for a Paint Your Pet painting class.

The class, taught by Laura Nickel, was offered by Butler County Parks and Recreation.

Attendees brought in pictures of their beloved pets and were provided an 8x8 canvas and all supplies required. Larger canvases were available. Painters learned to copy a photo onto a canvas, and paint their beloved pet.
