Myers

Irene Marie Myers, 91, of Bullcreek Road died Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 27, 1915, in Butler, she was a daughter of Joseph and Mary Marchinoski Falkevitz.

She was a homemaker and mother and greatly enjoyed designing and painting intricate Ukrainian Easter eggs. She also enjoyed crocheting.

Mrs. Myers belonged to the Thorncreek United Methodist Church for more than 50 years, had taught Sunday school and was a former member of the Thorncreek Quilting group and the Christian Missionary Society.

She was a 50-year member of the Women of the Moose in Verona and Butler and was a member of the Knoch High School Band Auxiliary. She also was a former den mother for Cub Scout Pack 25, Den 3.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Regis (Eleanor) Fallecker Sr. of Carbon Center; three sons, Kenneth J. Myers of Butler, Carl E. Myers of Saxonburg and Francis S. Myers of Butler; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Kenneth J. Myers, Sr., whom she married Feb. 21, 1933, died Nov. 15, 1982. Three brothers, a sister, an infant daughter and a half- sister also preceded her in death.

Cunningham St.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
