Hannah Kathryn Lowry, 87, formerly of Ellwood City, died Wednesday at the Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople.

Born Dec. 8, 1919, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of Robert F. Lowry and Martha Glenn.

She was a 1937 graduate of Lincoln High School in Ellwood City and retired as a cost clerk at Aetna Standard Engineering after 31½ years.

Miss Lowry was a member of the Calvin Presbyterian Church in Ellwood City, where she had been a deacon and Sunday school teacher. She also belonged to the Ellwood City Hospital Auxiliary.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy McKim and Mrs. Glenna Wimer; and a brother and sister-in-law, Paul G. and Winn Lowry.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert F. Lowry Jr.

<B>LOWRY</B> — A service for Hannah Kathryn Lowry, who died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Seaman Chapel at the Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople, with Chaplain Wilfred Goetze officiating.
