BUTLER TWP — Two Butler Senior High School graduates have been named recipients of the 2014 Rosanne Cavalero and Jane Cavalero Scholarships, with each student receiving $6,496 for college tuition.

The 2014 graduates, Sarah Kaltenbach and Johnathon Schiebel, each won the award.

Kaltenbach is the daughter of Gerald and Ursula Kaltenbach of Butler. She will be an engineering major at St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Ind.

Schiebel is the son of Sean and Jennifer Schiebel of Cabot. He will attend the University of Pittsburgh and major in microbiology.

The Rosanne and Jane Cavalero Scholarships are distributed through the Wellington C. Carl Fund of the Pittsburgh Foundation. The funds provide scholarships in equal shares to the male and female graduates from Butler having the highest cumulative grade point average who pursue post-secondary education.
