Sara R. Blake, 95, of Butler passed away Monday at Chicora Medical Center with family at her side.

She was born Dec. 14, 1917, in Clarion County, the daughter of the late Roy Bruce and Ruby (Miller) Humes.

Sara was a member of Hawthorn Presbyterian Church in Clarion County, and attended Faith Presbyterian Church while living in Butler.

She enjoyed gaming of any type such as cards, bingo or slots. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are two daughters, Carol (Kenneth) Baldauf of Meridian and Pamela Traughott and her significant other, Mike Harrison, of Rimersburg; one son, Gerald “Bud” H. Smith of Brookville; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Barbara Templeton of Mars and Joan Aaron of New Bethlehem.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
